Smart Hotel Thamrin Jakarta - Giacarta

Posizione okay , secondo me una delle migliori zone di jakarta per soggiornare. Reception aperta 24/24, personale gentile e prezzo buono.

La camera non era pulitissima e sembrava non fosse usata da un po' per la polvere che presentava sulla mobilia . Nella stanza erano presenti moltissime zanzare. La colazione era inclusa ma era scritto che ci sarebbero stati solo mie goreng e nasi goreng; per una colazione a buffet all you can eat con piatti anche di colazione continental breakfast c'era da pagare in più 15000 rp. Abbiamo pagato ma il buffet che ci si e' presentato davanti era scarno, con cibo vecchio e mosche su frutta. Non mi e' piaciuto per niente.

It would be nice if you had warm water in the shower. More english channels.

Staff needs more training and english language education; rooms are smelly; housekeeping does the basics, neglects details like substituting dirty glasses with fresh ones

The attention I received from all the workers. Very good reception and welcome. Very friendly attendants. From the front office desk all the way to hse-keeping. Excellent service. Wifi good. Good Flat screen TV with HBO.

The fact that the standard double room had no windows. I had to change my room and get one with a window. This can be improved.

Fairly good location, 30 mins from airport (at midnight with no traffic). Hot water.

The staff was very friendly. to book hotel trough your agency means bad reputation for you. Very bad hotel plus my wc door was broken and stuck. I couldn't have shower Rgrds Stefanovski

Good location. 5-Min walk from shopping malls (Plaza Indonesia, Grand Indonesia).

Bed sheets smell humidity.Tiny rooms. Poor breakfast (rice or noodles). You can have a better one if you pay more. Very bad wifi connection in the room. Staff told me they would manage the connection problem but they never did.

Location, even the taxi driver from the airport still asking where is it!

The staffs are more 'on holiday' than working. I got a room with many things unsettled. No remote control for TV (I have to ask for it), an air-conditioner which not cooling the room even after 30 minutes and it is leaking, wetting my shoes. Then they changed my room which water in the bathroom slowly drain till it look like a flood. And the hallway is not even, just like u covered unfinish flooring works using plywood with carpets! The breakfast is so poor. Choose either fried noodle or fried rice. If I want to have buffet, I need to add IDR17,000/person which I never encounter before in any of my travel to many places in Indonesia. With it's room rate, the customer should get the buffet breakfast without paying more money. Smart Hotel didn't smart as it's name (maybe because of the staff). On the second day, I can't open the door using the smart card key. I told the staff and he did call the reception to inform it. Why can't he just go downstairs doing something about it instead of calling the reception and then says to me, "This card is not working". I knew it and I went downstairs by myself! And, the funny things is they didn't realize that I already spent a night at their hotel when they asked me " Did you just check-in?". I am not a celebrity so they could know me well but they should have a checklist on which rooms are occupied and which rooms are vacant! Sorry guys, I worked in hotel line for more than 4 years and that is enough to make me know this very basic and simple thing. The staffs are busy chatting and making noise at the reception counter without respecting customers who sits or loitering around there. The lobby is so narrow and the ambiance is so not welcoming and comfy. They don't speak English well and treated customers like all are Indonesian. Thanks God I do able to speak in Indonesian Language a bit. As the result : I AM NOT RECOMMENDING THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE. GO A BIT INSIDE AND TRY FIND STUDIO ONE RESIDENCE. THEY ARE MUCH BETTER!

Cockroaches baits all around the hotel room despite bugs alive and well in the room. Internet not working. Very bad breakfast. Air conditioning not working properly.

The room smell like a smoking room & squeezy. No window feeling trapped.

Pay in advance - I didn't know how many days I was going to be there, so this became a problem. The shower flooded, so did the was basin; the bathroom door handle was broken when I arrived. The room was cramped. The wi-fi didn't work: I had to change my laptop configuration to meet the hotel's and even then there was no connection. The breakfast was the worst food I've had in Indonesia and the worst hotel breakfast ever. As I pointed out to the staff, you couldn't sell it at a cafe. The location is reasonable, but impossible to get a taxi between 16.00 and about 19.00.
